You know that the zodiac sign has 12 star signs right? Unfortunately, no. It has 13! Was surfing around the web and i found out that the new star sign is called Ophiuchus. It's located between scorpio and sagittarius. Some of you might have known and some might not.
Ophiuchus is represented by snake/serpent holder.

After ophiuchus is introduced, the whole zodiac chart changed and some believe that the actual zodiac chart should be like this:

CANCER = JULY 21 - AUG 9
LEO = AUGUST 10 - SEPTEMBER 15

SCORPIO = NOVEMBER 23 - NOVEMBER 29
OPHIUCHUS = NOVEMBER 30 - DECEMBER 17

CAPRICORN = JANUARY 19 - FEBRUARY 15
AQUARIUS = FEBRUARY 16 - MARCH 11
PISCES = MARCH 12 - APRIL 18
My personal opinion: I don't believe the new chart but more on the old 1 (12 signs). I'm a libra on the 12 signs chart and a virgo on the 13 signs chart. Virgo's description doesn't suit me very well but instead libra more. Another 'funny' thing i thought of, the new sign, which is a serpent-holder has a serpent there, it's meant to deceive us like the serpent did to eve in the bible. HAHA!
P.S: I'm not those person who totally believe in astrology/horoscope or whatever. I just read it for fun since i have got nothing to do :)

ReplyDeleteIve always been a little confused in my sign. Im on the cusp of scorpio and saggitarius and never felt i belonged quite to either. This new sign is me to a tee!! I think the disruption of the other signs have people upset so perhaps its not quite there. Maybe this new sign is a little more narrow and doesnt stretch as wide meaning it doesnt have to change the other signs so much. If it was more subtle than it make more sense than to just change so drastically so many peoples signs. A few days difference may work but some peoples signs are completely two signs down. That is too much of a jump and change.

Actually guys, this star sign doesn't apply to the western Zodiac at all. We're keeping our twelve star calendar. This change applies to the east Indian calender, which has always had 13 stars, and is also always changing. If you want to switch calndars, then by all means, feel free to use the additional sign.

ReplyDeleteI think we start becoming what we want to become. Some do have inherent traits yes, but many of us read the astrology books and imagine us as having those characteristics. If truth be told no one...is a pure sign. We are a mix of 4 signs anyway. Sun Sign, Moon Sign, Ascendant & Name sign. So born on the 12th of February, I was supposedly an Aquarian, my Lunar sign being Capricorn, My ascendant being Gemini & my name sign being Scorpio. All this is, is an interesting development. At any point in time we do not know everything. Things keep being revealed with time...so I'm guessing changes will keep coming. Don't get it inked yet. :P :)
